Making better use of our joint resources is crucial, including staff, services and money. We now have an opportunity to develop better ways of working between the existing partners, services and professionals on the Fylde coast. Known as ‘Healthier Fylde Coast’, the Integrated Care Partnership brings together the local NHS, Blackpool Council and Lancashire County Council.
For the past 18 months local NHS and council organisations have been working in partnership to plan health and care services for the next five years across the Fylde Coast.
Thinking about the NHS Long Term Plan, the local challenges we are facing and what you have told us, has helped us to shape our key areas of focus over the next five years.
The ‘Fylde Coast Integrated Care Partnership’ brings NHS and council organisations together to improve health and care for people living in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.
We don’t need any legislative changes to make progress as we can work within our existing organisations to strengthen partnership working, further develop services and improve effectiveness and efficiency.
