Making better use of our joint resources is crucial, including staff, services and money. We now have an opportunity to develop better ways of working between the existing partners, services and professionals on the Fylde coast.
Known as ‘Healthier Fylde Coast’, the Integrated Care Partnership brings together the local NHS, Blackpool Council and Lancashire County Council.
For the past 18 months local NHS and council organisations have been working in partnership to plan health and care services for the next five years across the Fylde Coast.

The partnership – which is known as ‘Healthier Fylde Coast’ – will work together to a common vision: ‘improving health and care together’.
Our strengthened partnership builds on, and formalises, our well-established way of working, which has already vastly improved community-based services and patient outcomes.
